Competition winner Jethro arrived with friends Barny, Sam, Will and Tim for our opening week of the season. Having braved the Beast from the East to get here things were a little slow for the guys early on. It took until Thursday for the first fish to show itself and it was a beauty at 46.8lb, fittingly caught by Jethro. It started a small flurry of fish and 6 were caught in total with 4 out of the 5 guys landing a carp. Even Tim who's fish will always be a nice memory.
